The end of an era – the official end of the Imagination Festival
After more than a decade, dozens of performances, and thousands of stories we've written together, the moment has come to announce the end of Imagination Festival. Not just this year's chapters. But the entire edition.
Over the past months, we have done our utmost to bring the festival back. We have prepared a new direction, a new vision, we have considered every possible path. But in the end, we had to admit: The cultural environment in which Imagination grew and breathed is no longer here today.
We could have gone down the path of compromise. Back down from ambition. Look for simpler solutions just to keep the brand alive. But that wouldn't have been the Imagination we wanted to make. And the one you deserved.
We didn't want just "another year". We wanted an experience with soul. And if it's not possible to deliver that in full force and without compromise, then we believe it's better to let the festival go with dignity than to turn it into an empty routine.
Thank you to everyone who was a part of this journey. From the first garage events to the big halls. Thank you to everyone who danced, created, helped, supported. You were what made Imagination real.
We leave with respect - to the history, to the community, to the energy you put into the festival with us. Imagination ends, but the memories remain. Strong, honest, unmistakable.
