From the garage beyond imagination

A bold idea. An unexpected concept. A community that lives on today. 

When on In the spring of 2012, the first Imagination Festival was created, few people knew that this is where one of the most important stories of the electronic scene in Central Europe begins. Today, after more than a decade, we are talking about a tradition that has united dozens of thousand fans from all over Europe, brought the top performers from the world's drum & bass and harder styles scenes to Prague and rewrote the rules of what one single evening can accomplish.

A journey beyond imagination

The first year attracted 1 fans to the new space at Vyšehrad. We knew even then that we were creating something exceptional. In the following years, the festival moved to the Exhibition Grounds in Holešovice, and then to Letňany, where Imagination grew into two massive stages and hosted more than 25 foreign artists and 6 visitors.

The festival has raised the bar every year – technically, visually and dramaturgically. Big names like Pendulum, Noisia, Netsky, Camo & Krooked, Mefjus, Wilkinson, AMC, Angerfist or Headhunterz has become an integral part of our history. But behind it all there has always been one thing: community.

Imagination is more than music

From the very beginning, Imagination Festival has not been built solely on the line-up. An integral part of it is enjoyment. A space where reality turns into light, sound and energy. Stage designs that pulsate with the rhythm of beats, monumental visualizations and detailed moments that convey indescribable subjective emotions to everyone. Each year has its own story, its own face, its own key visual – and for many, its own emotional peak.

The most important element is therefore you - fans, who come back year after year, who grow with us, who meet at the bar, get lost in the crowd and find a piece of themselves in the music. Without you, it wouldn't be a tradition. It wouldn't be Imagination without you..

A new chapter awaits us

After breaks, the pandemic and difficult organization in 2023, Imagination returned home to the newly renovated pavilions in Holešovice in 2024. And it is here, in the place where we have written history so many times, The next chapter will take place on November 14, 11. 

Just as the world around us changes, Imagination Festival 2025 will once again have a new look. In addition, this year will be dedicated exclusively to drum & bass.
